Athena Calderone Drops a Home Collection With Crate & Barrel
You’re probably familiar with Athena Calderone, or at least her name, if you have a foot in the design world. The multi-hyphenate is an interior designer, author, entertaining expert, and EyeSwoon founder, that just partnered with Crate & Barrel to launch her first-ever whole home collection. The 137-piece collaboration covers everything from large furniture pieces to dinnerware, and everything in between, meaning you could decorate your entire place top to bottom with her collection. Drawing inspiration from ancient forms and designs collected over the years, Calderone’s signature style shines through the eclectic furnishings by mixing materials, finishes, and design eras. The pieces have a sculptural elegance about them, all while appearing comfortable for everyday life.
“We were thrilled to work with Athena to create timeless pieces that transcend trends,” said Sebastian Brauer, Senior Vice President of Product Design, Head of Metaverse and Web 3.0. “Athena’s aspirational vision and commitment to live beautiful coupled with our design centric craftsmanship and values of living with purpose and intention come through in the authentic details and materials across this lifestyle collection.”
The pieces in the collection, which includes kitchen and serving items, throw pillows, candleholders, vases, planters, lamps, seating, tables, and beds, and range in price from $9.95 (a dip bowl) – $8,893.00 (a 7-piece sectional sofa).
The Athena Calderone for Crate & Barrel collection is available online and at a few select U.S. stores.
